Both examples above: Daniel Terrace sand dunes in Port Augusta. This site has seen, what was a large Opuntia stricta (Prickly pear) infestation December 2018, been reduced to almost nothing. After photos taken in March 2025. There are a few plants emerging from seed but the cochineal is picking them off, too.
